Southside Vision has supported the creation and ongoing maintenance of two pocket parks that were built on vacant lots along East Fourth Street.

Tranquility Park

Est. 2013

Tranquility Park opened in 2013 at 727 East Fourth Street and is the site of Southside Vision’s annual Southside Tree Lighting Ceremony on the First Friday in December.

Lopes International Park

Est. 2016

Lopes International Park was created in 2016 at the corner of Fourth and Hayes streets.

Southside Vision 2020 is a 6-year revitalization program of the Community Action Development Corp. of Bethlehem (www.cadcb.org) and the City of Bethlehem, with financial support from PPL Corporation, Just Born Quality Confections, Provident Bank, Peoples Security Bank & Trust, with tax credits from the PA Department of Community and Economic Development. Community-based projects are funded on a yearly basis by the Southside Vision Steering Committee in alignment with the Southside Vision 2014-2024 Master Plan.
