Project Description

Project Details

The Lynfield Community Center is a non-profit organization. We run different programs, including a homework club, arts and crafts, cultural awareness, sport activities, and provide positive educational services for the local community.

This project impacts the Lynfield community by providing youth with the opportunity to participate in a variety of different sporting activities, including soccer, basketball, and baseball. Children also receive assistance with their schoolwork through the Homework Club. Youth also participate in arts and crafts activities. The Center partners with Northampton County 4H to offer a gardening club.

The Lynfield Community Center is located at a Bethlehem Housing Authority site and serves low-income children. Our mission is to keep children and youth out of trouble. This project provided a range of activities to promote social interaction among children, their parents, and other residents of the community, and provides a positive influence.
